WWII: STUART TANK

For many years this M3A1 Stuart tank sat in front of the Brainerd Armory as a silent testament to the men of A Company, 194thTank Battalion, and their courageous defense of the Philippines after the Japanese invasion. It is also a memorial to all those that suffered (and died) while in Japanese captivity. With the blessing and encouragement of both the 194th Tank Battalion Association and the staff at the Brainerd Armory, restoration is underway for eventual installation in our new facility's WWII Exhibition Gallery.

Special thanks to Russ Mulholland, Mark Tilton, Jesse Fischer and Adam Schlangen.
