After years of planning, support and dedication, the new Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum is officially open.

The museum celebrated its Grand Opening September 11–13, 2026, welcoming veterans, service members, families, supporters and visitors to experience a new home for preserving and sharing Minnesota’s military history.

Located near Camp Ripley in Little Falls, the new museum provides expanded opportunities to explore the experiences of Minnesotans who served—from the Civil War through the Global War on Terror—through exhibitions, artifacts, personal stories and educational programs.
