LITTLE FALLS, MN — [Nov. 21, 2025] — The Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum , in conjunction with the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota & the Dakotas, will host a special virtual program marking the 80th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials, one of the most consequential legal and moral reckonings in modern history.

The event will explore how the Nuremberg Trials brought accountability to the architects of the Holocaust, established lasting principles of international law, and reshaped global expectations for justice in the aftermath of World War II.

“Eighty years later, the legacy of Nuremberg remains a guiding light for truth, justice, and the rule of law,” said Randal Dietrich, Executive Director of the Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum. “This program is both a commemoration and a reminder of the extraordinary individuals—service members, witnesses, legal teams, historians, and liberators—who ensured that the world would understand and remember exactly what happened.”

The online event will highlight the enduring relevance of the trials and honor those who served, preserved, and bore witness to history. Through a combination of historical insight, personal stories, and archival perspectives, the program will underscore why remembrance continues to matter today.
