Logos & Brand Guide

Our logos and brand elements are essential to preserving a consistent and respectful visual identity. By downloading and using them, you agree to abide by the following guidelines:

  1. Permitted Uses

    • Editorial stories, press coverage, event promotion, educational materials affiliated with or referencing the Museum.

    • Use of the full-color or single-color versions as provided in our guide.

  2. Prohibited Uses

    • Logos may not be altered in any way (no stretching, distortion, color changes, recoloring, filters, or combining with other graphic elements) beyond what is specified in the Brand Guide.

    • The logo may not be used in contexts or content that conflict with the Museum’s values (e.g. content that is defamatory, obscene, illegal, or otherwise harmful).

    • You may not use the logo in a way that implies endorsement of a product, service, event, political position, or cause without prior written permission.

  3. Attribution & Integrity

    • Always include clear credit as: “Logo courtesy of Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum.”

    • Respect the “safe space” or margin around the logo, as defined in the Brand Guide, so it is not crowded or obscured by other elements.

  4. Trademark & Ownership

    • All logo and brand assets remain the exclusive property of the Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum.

    • No license is granted for resale, branding of third-party merchandise, or use for commercial purposes unless explicitly authorized.

These clips are provided to support journalists, educators, and partners in sharing the story of Minnesota’s veterans and the creation of this new state museum.

  • Avoid using clips in a way that endorses or promotes content inconsistent with the Museum’s values.

  • Do not relicense, sell, or distribute the raw video files or allow them to be used as standalone stock footage without permission.
